Abigail Flores Jacinto and Jeed Francis V. Placio, both Bachelor of Science in Information Technology students, will represent World Citi Colleges (WCC) Antipolo in an international academic exchange at Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC) in Canada through the Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchanges for Development (SEED) Program.

The opportunity will allow the scholars to broaden their academic knowledge, develop new competencies, and gain valuable exposure to a diverse learning environment.

Ahead of their departure, WCC Antipolo, through its International Affairs and Strategic Partnerships Office (IASPO), held a send-off for the scholars. The occasion was also joined by Ms. Jennifer Montero, an official representative of NSCC.

The participation of Abigail and Jeed advances WCC’s strategic priority of internationalization by providing students with meaningful opportunities for global learning, cross-cultural engagement, and academic and professional development.

WCC wishes Abigail and Jeed a meaningful and enriching journey as they carry the name and spirit of the institution to Canada and represent the growing community of World Citizens on the global stage.
