World Citi Colleges (WCC), through its Office of International Affairs, successfully held the latest installment of its International Affairs Training Series titled “Writing for Quality Journals: An International Perspective” on September 8, 2025, at the SIHM Function Hall, WCC Quezon City Campus.

The training gathered deans and faculty members across WCC campuses, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and global engagement. The session featured distinguished international scholar Dr. Vikas Kumar, President of the Society for Education and Research Development, from the Central University of Haryana (India), who shared invaluable insights on navigating the global academic publishing landscape.

Dr. Kumar discussed essential strategies for crafting research manuscripts suited for high-impact journals, focusing on research originality, methodological rigor, and the peer review process—empowering WCC faculty to contribute more meaningfully to the global body of scholarly work.

Also present during the event was Dr. Huynh Tan Nguyen from Nguyen Tat Thanh University (Vietnam), who attended as a guest and further strengthened the international presence and collaborative spirit of the program.

This initiative reflects WCC’s expanding international academic network and strategic thrust toward building research capacity across its campuses. In line with this collaboration, WCC is set to co-host an international conference with Dr. Kumar’s organization in June 2026, further cementing its role in global academic engagement.

The Office of International Affairs extends its gratitude to all participants and looks forward to continuing its globally focused faculty development initiatives.
