WCC and WCC ATC Host International Talk on Social Entrepreneurship and Economics with Pan-European University

The International Affairs and Strategic Partnerships Office (IASPO) of World Citi Colleges (WCC) and WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) successfully hosted another installment of its ongoing International Talk Series, featuring Dr. Soňa Chovanová Supeková from Pan-European University, WCC’s partner institution in Slovakia.

Held at the WCC Quezon City campus and co-sponsored by REX Education, the event brought together faculty members from the College of Business Administration from various higher education institutions (HEIs) for an engaging session on Social Entrepreneurship and Economics.

With her extensive background in economics and business management, Dr. Supeková shared a global perspective on the role of social entrepreneurship in addressing contemporary economic and social challenges. Her talk encouraged participants to explore how innovative ideas can create both opportunities and impact in today’s interconnected world.

The conference also featured a panel discussion, moderated by our BA Quezon City Dean Prof. Kathleen Pulmones. Panel members included Soňa Chovanová Supeková, Dr. Maria Victoria U. Rosas, VP for Academic Affairs of the Philippine School of Business Administration, and Prof. Melanie Convento from WCC Antipolo Campus.

The conference was co-organized by IASPO and the Business Administration departments of the four campuses of the World Citi Education Group. WCC and WCC ATC continue to serve as channels for cross-cultural learning and global thought exchange, aligned with our commitment to promoting global academic engagement and research-driven collaboration through meaningful partnerships with leading institutions abroad.
