World Citi Colleges (WCC) marked another milestone in its legacy of nursing excellence as it held its 55th Capping, Pinning, and Candle Lighting Ceremony, honoring the next generation of Filipino nurses who will soon serve communities here and abroad. With the theme “With Excellence We Lead: Advancing the Legacy of a Glocal-Competitive Healthcare Workforce,” the event reinforced  WCC’s continued commitment to shaping globally competent and values-driven healthcare professionals.

The event was graced by Hon. Leah Primitiva G. Samaco-Paquiz, Chairperson of the Board of Nursing of the Professional Regulation Commission, whose presence highlighted the importance of strengthening the nursing profession and preparing students for the demands of the evolving healthcare landscape.

Parents, faculty members, and administrators witnessed this milestone as students stepped into their roles as future frontliners in healthcare. The ceremony reaffirmed WCC’s strong track record of producing nurses who are not only globally capable but also deeply committed to community service—true to the institution’s vision of nation-building and global progress.

As the demand for Filipino nurses continues to rise worldwide, WCC remains steadfast in its mission to produce global-competitive healthcare professionals who embody the Filipino brand of excellence, empathy, and resiliency.

Mabuhay to our future nurses. The world needs the light you carry.
