World Citi Colleges (WCC), through its College of Pharmacy, formally recognized 20 third-year pharmacy students during its White Coat and Pinning Ceremony 2026, marking their transition from classroom learning to professional practice preparation.
The ceremony served as a symbolic milestone for the students as they donned their white coats and received their professional pins—emblems of their growing responsibility as future pharmacists and healthcare professionals.
Anchored on the College of Pharmacy’s mission to provide excellent and holistic pharmaceutical education rooted in WCC’s core values, the event highlighted the students’ commitment to competence, compassion, integrity, and service. The ceremony also reflected WCC’s broader mission of developing globally competitive professionals and leaders who contribute to nation-building and global progress.
Serving as keynote speaker was Josue P. Felipe, RPh, President of the Pharmacy Preceptors Guild of the Philippines, Inc., and a pharmaceutical manufacturing leader with more than three decades of experience in production management, formulation development, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy education. His message offered the students a meaningful industry perspective as they prepare to enter the next phase of their academic and professional journey.
The ceremony also recognized the College of Pharmacy’s industry and academic partners, including Mercury Drug Corporation, Southstar Drug, World Citi Medical Center, Philippine Heart Center, Philippine Children’s Medical Center, Lung Center of the Philippines, and other partner institutions that support the students’ learning, training, and professional exposure.
A total of 20 White Coat and Pinning participants were recognized during the ceremony. Their participation signified their readiness to embrace the duties of pharmacy education, internship preparation, and future service to the healthcare community.
Through the White Coat and Pinning Ceremony, WCC reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing highly competent, compassionate, and value-laden pharmacy professionals who are prepared to serve communities and contribute to the advancement of healthcare.
