Communication students from World Citi Colleges(WCC) Antipolo and WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) North Manila experienced first-hand global learning through the Media Communications Summit 2025, organized by the College of Communication in collaboration with the International Affairs and Strategic Partnerships Office (IASPO).
The summit featured a keynote lecture by Dr. Soňa Chovanová Supeková from Pan-European University (Slovakia)—one of WCC’s international partner institutions—who shared her expertise on “The Power of Visual Storytelling in Marketing Campaigns.”
Dr. Supeková discussed how emotion serves as a strategic tool in visual communication, and how color, imagery, and design choices can influence audience perception, evoke empathy, and inspire action. Her session offered students a global perspective on how creativity and psychology converge in building effective marketing narratives.
The summit also showcased the creativity and advocacy of WCC communication students through a visual storytelling competition, featuring campaign entries anchored on SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
Through IASPO’s international collaborations, WCC continues to provide its students with access to international lecturers, thought leaders, and cross-cultural learning experiences—empowering them to become globally aware communicators who use media as a force for positive change.
