World Citi Colleges (WCC), in partnership with Pan-European University (Slovakia), continued its World Citizen Intelligent Futures Webinar Series with a session on “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Informatics: Diagnostics, Sensor Analytics, and XR Rehabilitation” held on May 5, 2026, via Zoom.
The webinar featured Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jan Lacko, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics at Pan-European University, as keynote speaker. The session explored how artificial intelligence and emerging technologies are transforming healthcare systems through advanced diagnostics, real-time sensor analytics, and extended reality (XR)-assisted rehabilitation.
Participants gained valuable insights into the growing role of AI in improving patient assessment, monitoring health conditions, enhancing rehabilitation processes, and supporting more data-driven healthcare delivery. Discussions also highlighted how technologies such as sensor-based analytics and XR environments are reshaping patient engagement and therapeutic interventions.
The webinar provided students and faculty with global perspectives on the intersection of healthcare, informatics, and intelligent systems—emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary innovation in addressing evolving healthcare challenges.
As part of WCC’s commitment to internationalization at home, the initiative continues to bring international expertise and emerging global conversations directly into the learning environment through collaborative virtual platforms.
Through partnerships with institutions such as Pan-European University, WCC strengthens its global academic network while preparing learners to navigate the future of healthcare and technology.
