WCC Honors Future Nutrition and Dietetics Professionals at Its 3rd White Coat and Pinning Ceremony
World Citi Colleges (WCC) held its 3rd White Coat and Pinning Ceremony for the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, reaffirming its commitment to shaping competent and service-driven health professionals. With the theme “A Path Towards the Excellence of Nutrition and Health,” the ceremony highlighted the program’s dedication to preparing future nutritionists and dietitians for their growing roles in improving community and public health.
The white coat and pinning rites marked the students’ formal transition into more advanced academic and practical responsibilities in clinical nutrition, community health, and food service—fields where their work will directly support better nutrition outcomes.
The event welcomed two guest speakers, Ms. Ma. Paz L. Sales, RND, MSc and Ms. Mary Ann D. Alejaro, RND, who shared insights on the evolving demands of the profession and encouraged the students to uphold excellence, integrity, and continuous learning.
Parents, faculty members, and administrators joined the students in celebrating this meaningful step in their journey. The ceremony reflected WCC’s mission to develop globally aware, values-driven, and service-oriented nutrition professionals.
Congratulations to our future RNDs!
