World Citi Colleges (WCC), through its College of Business Administration, participated in Juan Big Idea Nationwide 2026: “Mula sa Mundo Patungong Panlokal” on October 3, 2026.

Organized by the Philippine Junior Marketing Association (PJMA), the event brought together young marketers and industry experts at Bulacan State University–Main Campus, with an online livestream, to explore how global marketing ideas can connect with local audiences.

The discussions centered on glocalization—the adaptation of global brand strategies to local cultures. Topics included how Filipino language, humor, family values, and lifestyles influence consumer perceptions and inform brands’ products, identities, and campaigns.

For WCC’s College of Business Administration, participation provided an opportunity to connect classroom concepts with industry discussions on culture and consumer behavior. The event’s focus underscored  a practical consideration for aspiring business professionals: understanding the people a brand serves is essential to making its message relevant.
