World Citi Colleges (WCC) continues to advance its internationalization initiatives as a delegation of students and a faculty representative successfully completed the K-Health Training Program at Daegu Health College, South Korea, held from February 1 to 8, 2026.
The program, conducted in collaboration with Daegu Health College, forms part of WCC’s broader strategy to provide students with international learning experiences, industry-aligned exposure, and cross-cultural competence—key competencies required in today’s global professional landscape.
During the training, participants engaged in hospital observation, campus-based classes, Basic Life Support training, and cultural immersion activities, while gaining exposure to modern clinical training facilities and advanced simulation environments designed to meet global standards in health science education.
Representing WCC in the delegation were 12 Medical Technology students and 10 Nursing students, accompanied by Mr. Fritz RJ Destacamento Centeno, faculty member from the College of Medical Technology.
The delegation has since returned to the Philippines, bringing back valuable insights, skills, and global perspectives that will enrich both their academic training and their future professional practice.
International mobility programs such as the K-Health Training Program reflect WCC’s sustained commitment to building globally competitive graduates through experiential, internationally aligned education. By engaging with partner institutions abroad, WCC students gain firsthand exposure to diverse healthcare systems, modern training technologies, and collaborative learning environments—experiences that strengthen their readiness to contribute to both national development and global progress.
As WCC continues to expand its international partnerships and mobility programs, initiatives like this reinforce the institution’s vision of being one of Asia’s best multidisciplinary colleges of choice and a recognized leader in producing industry-relevant, globally competent graduates.
