Twelve students from World Citi Colleges (WCC) and WCC Aeronautical & Technological College (WCC ATC) are participating in an academic and cultural exchange at Dong Nai Technology University (DNTU) in Vietnam, with onsite activities running from October 25 to 31, 2026.

The delegation comprises two students from WCC Antipolo and ten from WCC ATC Binalonan, accompanied by Ms.Riena Joy Rey, WCC Internationalization Officer. Their visit forms part of the Cultural and Academic Exchange Program, which combines online learning with academic engagement and cultural immersion in Vietnam.

Before traveling, the students completed online sessions from October 19 to 24 covering Vietnamese language and culture, intercultural competence, global citizenship, and financial technology. They also collaborated on the Vietnam–Philippines Cultural Harmony Project, exploring the cultures of both countries through shared activities.

A welcome ceremony held at DNTU on October 26 brought together the delegation, Vietnamese students, and university representatives to open the week’s scheduled activities.

The onsite program includes an AI and robotics workshop with hands-on coding, Vietnamese culinary and nutrition classes, an enterprise visit, and a session on using English in the workplace. Intercultural learning sessions, sports, and activities with DNTU students will also give participants opportunities to exchange perspectives and build connections beyond the classroom.

The program will conclude on October 31 with cultural project presentations, an evaluation session, a closing ceremony, and the awarding of certificates.

DNTU has been an international academic partner of WCC since 2024. The continuing exchange provides students with opportunities to experience another educational environment and engage with peers overseas, supporting the development of adaptability, intercultural communication, and global awareness.
