PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Prepares learners with the French language skills needed for academic study and participation in French-speaking educational environments. It develops academic reading and writing, listening and note-taking, classroom communication, presentations, discussions, and academic vocabulary. The program also strengthens learners’ ability to engage confidently with academic materials and coursework. Training can be adapted to the learner’s institution, field of study, and specific academic requirements.
PROGRAM SCOPE
A1: GENERAL FRENCH. Develops foundational French skills for basic everyday communication. Learners can introduce themselves, understand simple expressions, and exchange basic personal information. (Learning Hours: 100)
A2: GENERAL FRENCH. Builds practical French for familiar everyday situations. Learners can communicate about routine topics such as family, work, shopping, travel, and daily activities. (Learning Hours: 120)
B1: ACADEMIC FRENCH. Develops independent French skills for academic environments. Learners understand lectures and texts, express ideas, participate in discussions, and communicate about academic topics. (Learning Hours: 180)
B2: ADVANCED ACADEMIC FRENCH. Strengthens the language skills needed for academic study and communication. Learners analyze information, participate in discussions, present ideas, and produce structured written work. (Learning Hours: 200)
C1: ADVANCED ACADEMIC COMMUNICATION. Develops advanced French for demanding academic contexts. Learners understand complex material, communicate precisely, construct well-supported arguments, and produce sophisticated academic language. (Learning Hours: 250)
